the beautiful day

HI, 

I have been trying my hands at making cards recently, not my forte..but few friends has asked me to make some for them and here I am with one such card which is very close to my heart..

Used the very famous Altenew The Beautiful Day stamp set on Brustro watercolor paper.Later die cut the piece with MFT square stitch dies.

I have heat embossed the image in clear and used my MISTI stamping tool with along with the masking technique (masked the big center flower to stamp the flower bunches)

Used Zig clean clear brush markers for the watercolor effect. ( Marika Rahtu  is my inspiration..)

And the sentiment comes from one of the most versatile Gratitude stamp set from Penny Black.

Welcome to February aka month of love...

And this would be my second month being DT at Kraftzone..enjoying every bit :)
So for this month the DT decided Pinks, Reds, Whites..color theme as our challenge..

So here is my creation..A fusion of double slider and recessed window card..

this cute little card has stencil, stamping, distressing, heat embossing and punched heart borders, fabriano card stock and DCWV pattern paper ( and did u notice i placed the pp upside down :P )..

And since its Valentines..my love for Damask had to be the highlight here!! :P

PS: I totally adore this A Birdie Told Me stamp set from Lawn Fawn...:)
