Wrapped Blessings

Hi,
Had my recent date with ....GUESS who!!...yes!! everybody's recent favs...Distress Inks...
Believe me if you haven't still tried your hands on them you should!!
These are water reactive inks...and the moment you spray them with water...you can wait for some great effect...I would love to share some of my experiments with few techniques I used here..


1. Layering, little water spray and my favourite Twig n Berry stamp set

2. Masking , heat embossing

3. Scrunched paper texture, dabbing distress inks directly form ink pad and some water spray..also  stamped my flowers image and colored it using distress inks same as water color with a water brush.

Flower punch

Hi ppl...

Another project I just completed...A triple layering card...Stamped images from Hero Arts and the heat embossed sentiment from Penny Black Gratitude stamp set...

Have been quilling for 2-3 years now..but as always my creative brain needs some change...and my latest crush happens to be these distress inks, stamps, and the various amazing techniques used to create some marvelous effects. Hope you like this one .

Here I have layered my card stock(took white watercolor paper), its best for using distress inks and i used my waterbrush to color the flower outlines..

As for the sentiment you might find a little shadow to the white embossed image..I first inked it with black permanent ink and than heat embossed it, so a little black peeps in from below..Another thing i added to it was liquid pearls from Rangers..an amazing product...i just rubbed some of the silver pearls with my fingertip to give that glaze finish.

De stress!!

Hi ppl, 

Back to blogging after almost 2 years...Still i don't like the idea of blogging..But thought why not give it a try...

Here I am with my latest crush...Stamps and distress inks....

Finally i am doing something other than quilling :) 

For this card I did Versamark images, heat embossed them and then used some distress inks...The square watermark images are made by using a stencil as a resist to water spray..
